I was tagged by my lovely friend @Roguepuppet to blog 7 weird things about myself. Like the seven wonders of the world, they will be varied if much less interesting...
1) I met my true love when I was about 20. It lasted about a year and then we lost touch after that. She came back into my life about a year and a half ago and it was very strange to see her after all this time and get that same electric shock.
2) I am an extreme introvert. I don't dislike people, I just am not a crowd person. My favourite activities like top down night drives in the countryside are typically solo activities. Even in WoW I solo 98% of the time.
3) I have come close to being killed twice by my mother in car accidents, once by falling three stories off a building, and another time slipping off the underside of a bridge I was climbing.
4) I've visited about 46 of the US states, and everywhere in Canada except PEI and Nunavut.
5) I'm Canadian, but the majority of the people I talk to on a daily basis are not in Canada, most are in the US, some are in europe, and a couple are in China (work and family).
6) I'm extremely sentimental, I love touchstones. I have stuff like my tape deck I bought in the summer of 85 that I just can't let go of.
7) I refuse to accept gender boundaries. I did a lot of the raising of my sister, and she was never allowed to lean on the excuse that 'that's guy stuff'. People are people, regardless of gender or cultural origin. The rest is the imprint of society and it's sad to see people limit themselves because of what others tell them is within their domain of capability.
